On the River
The Red Herring
Perched over the Swan River in East Fremantle, The Red Herring enjoys
panoramic views of the river and the North Fremantle cliffs; imagine
your wedding photographs with this spectacular scenery as a backdrop.
Stunning views are not the only thing The Red Herring has going for it --
since its inception in 1997, the restaurant has become an iconic Fremantle
establishment, known for its exquisite seafood, premium service and
comprehensive function packages.
Salt on the Beach
In Western Australia, we're blessed with gorgeous weather, pristine beaches
and amazing produce. Situated on sand dunes on North Fremantle's Port
Beach, Salt on the Beach takes advantage of all of the above to provide a
quintessentially West Australian wining and dining experience. With panoramic
views of the Indian Ocean, Salt on the Beach is a stunning venue capable of
hosting functions for up to 1000 people. The food is fresh and -- thanks to the
on-site nano-brewery, Blacksalt -- the beer runs all day, every day.
Walter's River Cafe
Opened more than 10 years ago, Walter's River Cafe has prime position at
Point Walter Reserve, nestled in parkland, overlooking the Swan River. Views
here extend across the river to the majestic Perth Hills. As well as lazy lunches
and coffee catch-ups, this waterfront cafe is the perfect spot for functions with
ever-changing scenery, large open spaces and exceptional food. The cafe is a
favourite among locals who treat it as their home away from home.
