Perched on steep terraced slopes and
surrounded by virgin bushland, Darlington
Estate is a country-style paradise that
allows visitors to completely escape the hustle
and bustle of the city.
While just 35 minutes out of Perth, Darlington
Estate is a departure not only from the rat race,
but also from the "production line" flavour of
busy wine regions.
Environmentally friendly viticulture, including
minimal use of fertilisers and chemicals, ensures
the integrity of the land and, in turn, the wine.
With beautiful indoor and outdoor settings,
the winery is perfectly suited to a variety of
functions and events including corporate lunches,
wedding receptions and other small celebrations.
The main building is a stone, wood and glass
construction, which blends seamlessly into the
natural environment -- functions here make the
most of the tranquil atmosphere.
Overlooking the main restaurant, the
Conservatory features a cosy potbelly stove and
views down into the valley. This space seats up
to 50 people and is ideal for intimate dinners.
The restaurant and its glassed extension are
known as the Atrium. Catering for up to 140
and with magnificent views of the surrounding
bushland, it s an ideal space for a large function
or wedding reception.
Several outside dining areas can cater for six
to 50 people.
Darlington Estate s head chef Ronald
Weselman has created function menus, which
feature modern Australian style dishes with an
international flavour. Ronald insists on only the
freshest, local ingredients as well as the highest
standards of presentation.
Whether it s a corporate event or a more
casual get-together, the combination of stunning
surrounds, a tranquil ambience and this delectable
cuisine make Darlington Estate an impeccable
