Perth Hills Winery
Whether you want an elegant wedding with a stunning backdrop, or a focused corporate meeting with
fantastic food and wine to keep the troops inspired, Millbrook Winery provides it all.
Surrounded by tall trees on a winding road, with
dappled sunlight twinkling on the leaves of the
nearby bush, you could be forgiven for thinking
you were a long way from anywhere.
But as you turn the corner into Millbrook
Winery, you are greeted with a sweeping view
across a beautiful lake to the impressive winery
itself. At this point, you realise you are somewhere
Over a lake, past fruit trees and a walk of
agapanthus lies the heart of Millbrook. Primarily
a producer of premium wines, the elegant main
building has a large tasting space virtually level
with the water.
A large deck opens off the tasting room, which
is the perfect place to enjoy the afternoon sun
over a glass of one of the estate s delicious wines.
The restaurant upstairs at Millbrook serves
an impressive menu, with executive chef Roy
Thomson spruiking a notable pedigree.
Roy s style of food is modern Australian,
placing a solid emphasis on using local produce
where possible. Roy has taken this a step further
by handpicking the herbs, vegetables and fruit
grown on the property and incorporating them
into his menus.
A popular event at Millbrook is the esteemed
marron and chardonnay lunch each year, with
marron coming straight out of the dam and
fabulous chardonnays from the Fogarty
Wine Group gracing the tables.
The restaurant operates as a spacious area for
a function -- light, bright and overlooking the
surrounding bush and lake, it feels airy and cosy
at the same time.
The function room opens with bi-fold doors on
to a jarrah deck that overlooks the lake, gardens
and vineyard -- a beautiful spot for pre-dinner
drinks and canapes.
Millbrook has a dedicated functions manager
in Emma Gipson, who sees each booking through
from inception to conclusion.
The team is experienced in running all manner
of events and each member works tirelessly to
ensure each is a success.
