central Fremantle that holds a heritage listing tag,
ensuring the preservation of the finest architecture.

is hired out for an array of functions including
weddings, corporate events, exhibitions, theatrical
performances and private dinners.
The main room, complete with upstairs gallery
and commercial kitchen, can hold up to 220
guests seated or more than 450 auditorium-style.
There is also an atrium, perfect for pre-dinner
drinks, as well as an all-important cloakroom.
The adjoining King s Square is the ideal
outdoor space for an exhibition or musical
performance on a balmy summer eve.
To complete your event, the Fremantle Town
Hall has a plethora of facilities available including
audiovisual equipment, tables and chairs. A grand
piano is also available to add that Victorian touch.
As well as the hall, the City of Fremantle hires
out the following local reserves and beaches for
wedding ceremonies and photography: Sorrell
Park, Princess May Park, Monument Hill,

THE LOCATION: Located in the heart
of Fremantle, the Fremantle Town Hall is
within walking distance of restaurants, bars,
cinemas and public transport. Local parks
and beaches available for hire are also
within close proximity to Fremantle's hub.
THE FACILITIES: The Fremantle Town
Hall has a main room, with upstairs gallery
and commercial kitchen, and an atrium.
Audiovisual equipment, chairs, tables
and a grand piano are all available for
use. To make life easier, there is also an
undercover, 900-bay car park close by.
THE NUMBERS: From a private dinner
for 200 to a conference for 450 people, the
Fremantle Town Hall has a function area to
suit any-sized occasion.
THE FOOD: While Fremantle Town Hall
can recommend caterers, event hosts are
free to use any caterer they desire.

hosts are welcome to use a beverage
supplier of their choice.

of Fremantle, Fremantle Town Hall was
opened in June 22, 1887, to coincide with
Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee. Since its
