The Red Herring

renowned Fremantle establishment.
Rich in history, The Red Herring is situated on an
old oyster crates site overlooking one of the most
exquisite sections of the Swan River.
Jutting out over the water, it provides picture-
perfect views with the local swim team of dolphins
regularly performing for the restaurant s guests.
Stepping inside, the experience is further
enhanced with delicious food and wine, and
impeccable service. The restaurant s menu is
laden with luscious seafood entrees (as well as a
vegetarian option) and mouth-watering mains
of fish, crayfish, seafood platters, lamb shanks,
rack of pork and more. The selection of desserts
is a must for sweet tooths, with a dessert wine
suggestion alongside each sugary treat.
These menu items are available to mix and
match at functions plus there is a wide range
of canapes to start a sit-down meal or serve at
a cocktail party. A host of platters, including
antipasto, cheese and fruit platters, are also
available for cocktail-style events.
Well thought-out beverage packages have been
created to complement clients needs and the a la
carte wine list is also available upon request.

As well as the delicious cuisine, wine and
panoramic river views, the venue has its own
private jetty so the couple can arrive in style after a
romantic cruise on the Swan.
The venue can hold up to 180 guests for
weddings if both the restaurant and function
room are booked out. The functions manager is
