Take advantage of Western Australia's magnificent sunsets and enjoy your next special occasion right
on the shore.
When the mercury rises, most of us Sandgropers
head straight to the beach -- it s an inextricable
part of the West Australian lifestyle.
With spectacular views of the Indian Ocean
and located right on the sand dunes of Port
Beach, Salt on the Beach is not only a great spot
to enjoy a drink after your swim, it s also an ideal
place for summer functions.
The venue consists of several separate areas
making it ideal for both large and small events.
With a capacity for up to 1000 people
standing or 300 seated, the Beach Bar is just
right for corporate events, product launches
While this space has a casual, relaxed ambience,
it can be decorated to become an elegant dining
area and the Salt staff are happy to section off
areas for smaller functions.
The Mezzanine is best for smaller events
such as private dinners or small weddings and
is separated from the restaurant by a raised floor
and curtain. Absolute beach frontage and ocean
views make this area one of Salt on the Beach s
most sought-after function spots.
From the Terrace, guests can almost touch
the beach, making it a great place to entertain
out-of-towners -- it offers the quintessential West
Australian experience. Both sit-down dinners and
cocktail parties are well-suited to this area.
If the event calls for something a little more
formal, the restaurant is an impressive space,
which can be hired together with the Mezzanine
and Terrace for large functions.
Food and service are also of high priority
at Salt on the Beach and the chefs have created
a tasty menu of modern Australian cuisine, with
a focus on seafood. They ve also worked together
to match food with drops from the extensive list
of local and international wines.
And when all you want is an ice-cold beer?
On-site is nano-brewery, Blacksalt, where you
can enjoy a brew or two, seven days a week.
