THE EVENT: Consider hosting a corporate
do, wedding reception, private dining
experience or a cocktail party at Halo.
THE LOCATION: It doesn't get much
better than a waterfront, CBD location
with views of the Swan River and the
South Perth foreshore. If you're looking for
somewhere that will provide an amazing
background for photos, Halo fits the bill.
THE FACILITIES: Book out the restaurant
for a large function, dine on the boardwalk
for something different or for an intimate
experience, a secluded waterfront option
THE NUMBERS: The entire venue can
accommodate up to 100 guests for a
seated occasion and up to 150 guests
for a canape event. A private area on
the verandah is a fabulous option for an
intimate party of 12 or host your function
inside the restaurant for up to 40 guests.
THE FOOD: With a strong focus on
seafood, Halo has a seasonal menu
that makes the most of the wonderful
West Australian produce. There are also
delicious meat, game and vegetarian
dishes on offer.
THE BEVERAGES: Wine buffs will love
the 250 options featured on Halo's wine list
while a healthy selection of aperitifs, beers
and cocktails will entice others.
THE COMPANY: Halo opened in 2005 and
has had a strong culinary presence in Perth
ever since. With a passionate owner
(Lynn Wolkowinski), inspired head chef
(Rainer Konstanty) and sous chef (Craig
Panizza), along with a dedicated and
knowledgeable floor staff, the restaurant
generates a superb atmosphere for staff
and guests alike.
