THE EVENT: The State Library is well
equipped to host a variety of corporate
or government functions including
conferences, seminars, launches, training
sessions, lectures, film screenings and

Northbridge on the other, the State Library
provides a quiet sanctuary in the middle of
the city's hustle and bustle.
THE FACILITIES: The State Library
building boasts eight well-lit seminar/
meeting rooms with modern decor. Most
rooms feature electronic whiteboards,
built-in 51cm television and DVD, with
other audiovisual and presentation
equipment available for hire.
THE NUMBERS: The spacious, airy
conference rooms range in capacity
from 12 to 75 people. There is also the
State Library Theatre which offers the
spectacle of a built-in cinema screen with
comfortable seating for up to 210 people.
THE FOOD: The on-site ground floor
coffee lounge can provide catering services
ranging from morning and afternoon teas
to full banquet cuisine. Outside catering is

A new state-of-the-art 30-
seat conference room is set to
open at the State Library of
Western Australia late 2009.
The State Library of WA has eight seminar
rooms, ideal for small to medium-sized
meetings, presentations and training sessions.
