is on the outskirts of Fremantle. It is close
to buses heading to Fremantle as well as
the Murdoch Park 'n' Ride, making it easily
THE FACILITIES: There are two main
entertaining and function areas: a bar with
dance floor, and a restaurant. The venue
also has a bottle shop.
THE NUMBERS: The restaurant seats up
to 80 people, while the bar's capacity is up
to 300 people standing.
THE FOOD: Guests can expect typical
pub grub in the bar including the usual
fish and chips and Caesar salad. The chefs
in the restaurant lean towards a modern
Mediterranean menu and guests can choose
from a la carte, set menus or platters.
THE BEVERAGES: For functions, beer, wine
and spirits are available by consumption at
reasonable bar prices. There's also a good
choice of 13 beers on tap.
THE COMPANY: Family owned for seven
years, South Street Ale House's recent
renovations have transformed it into a
vibrant, contemporary venue where locals
can eat, drink and celebrate.
