1300 WOW FUN
[On The Reef] Cocktail Party for Halliburton.
Event theming for 500 Conference Delegates
at The View Restaurant in Fremantle.
Ghita - I just wanted to say thank you for all
the wonderful theming you did for our event.
The room looked amazing and we had so
many compliments on the atmosphere and
overall “feeling” of the event. Again, thank
you for all the hard work you did to make our
event the hit of the conference. S . Murphy
[Simply Gorgeous!] Marie Antoinette
Shoe Centrepieces in purple and
pink, designed for an 18th Century
French style Wedding at Caversham
House, Swan Valley in 2010.
Hi Ghita, Wow! Wow! You have done
an amazing job with the centre pieces!
I love the one shoe on the floral stand.
I am so pleased with your beautiful
creations!! Thank you so much. T. Cook
[Luau] Guests were greeted and adorned with
flower leis while Elvis sang songs from ‘Blue
Hawaii.’ The Luau theming included: floating
Outrigger canoes, large hanging Tiki Heads,
palm and Frangipani pots with Tiki lanterns,
storm candles and lots of colourful Bali flags.
A Christmas Function to remember for the FBA
Member’s Party in 2009 at Freedom Pools.
Thanks again to Bliss Parties, it looked really
lovely! And, everyone just loved Elvis! L. Willis
RED CARPET SNAPPERS
This isn’t just any paparazzi greeting the guests as they arrive. “This is a bunch of
bumbling 1940s-style paparazzi in bad-fitting, ugly suits and old-style cameras,
creating mayhem,” describes photographer Russell Barton. “Usually, we do it on
a red carpet and there are flashes going off everywhere, and the paparazzi are
calling out and throwing in lines relevant to the client’s guest list. Everyone loves
it. Except sometimes we get mixed reactions from politicians – they’re not sure if
it’s the real thing or not. It creates a real buzz as the guests arrive and really sets
the function off.” Russell Barton (08) 9242 2253, www.russellbarton.com.
FLY A BOEING How about flying a replica Boeing 737-800
through some of the most challenging airports in the world?
Now that’s a novelty! Surith Perera, from Flight Experience
WA, says the simulator experience feels real – sweaty
palms and all. “Our guests come out buzzing with a huge
sense of excitement and are completely immersed in the
experience,” he says. “Our clients come back over and
over again, and we have hosted some of the largest
names in the aviation, commercial banking, energy and
mining industries – I think this speaks for itself.” Based in
Northbridge, Flight Experience WA caters for up to 70
people, from bespoke intimate events to large product
launches, staff awards and surprise birthday parties.
