SERVICE Based at Jandakot Airport,
Fighter Combat International conducts
commercial adventure-flight operations,
display flying, training and all aspects of
warbird preservations. The business is run by
Drew Searle and Darius Pavri, who formed
the company to allow West Australians to
experience the thrill of adventure aviation.

Combat International can cater for groups of
up to 20 people wanting thrill-seeking flights or
scenic flights across the ocean.
DETAILS The aircrafts used are current-day
Chinese air force trainers. The pilots are
selected for their specialist experience and
training – many are ex-military pilots. All
passengers are issued with flight suits and
briefed about the day’s flying mission.

You can experience these amazing flights
on your own but the company also customises
packages for corporate and group bookings of
up to 20 daredevils.
So, what’s involved? A typical flight profile
begins with the arrival of passengers at
Jandakot Hangar. Here, you’ll change into a
flight suit and be issued with a headset.
Then it’s off for a briefing, a formation
flight brief and an explanation of the flying
mission. After that, it’s down to business.
You’ll be strapped into an aircraft, shown
close-formation flying, individual aerobatics
and then the simulated 30-minute dogfight
mission before returning to the base for
a debrief and photos. It’s bound to be an
experience you won’t soon forget.
