a focus on fresh, local produce, charcuterie
spreads and share food (great for the beach).
DRINK As well as premium wines, spirits
and cocktails, Indiana offers its own specially
brewed tap beers, Beach Belle and The Doctor.
DETAILS Indiana underwent extensive
refurbishments in 2009 and is now bright and
open, with a contemporary ‘beach house’ feel.
ising from the snow-white sand of
Cottesloe Beach, the majestic Indiana
is unrivalled for its quintessential West
Australian location and breathtaking views
across the Indian Ocean to Rottnest Island.
Sunsets here are something to behold.
Named after the original Indiana Tea
House, built in 1910, the iconic building
has become an international landmark and
is the perfect place to hold a function and
entertain visiting guests.
Events of almost any size are welcome,
with both exclusive (meaning you have the
whole place to yourself) and non-exclusive
use of the venue available.
For larger functions, the entire venue can
seat 120, or hold up to 170 cocktail-style.
Those after a little more privacy may opt
for the Private Ocean Room, which stretches
along the north-west section of Indiana.
This seriously impressive space has large
windows that open right out, allowing for
sweeping, fresh-air vistas of the beach.
Set menus are available for groups in
the restaurant, with all tables offering
spectacular ocean views.
Indiana’s head chef, Ben Davies, designs
the menu seasonally in conjunction with
sister venue Fraser’s head chef, Chris Taylor.
Whether you’re looking to ‘wow’ guests or
just want to drink in the beauty of Cottesloe
Beach, as a venue, Indiana is hard to resist.
“THE MAJESTIC INDIANA IS
UNRIVALLED FOR ITS QUINTESSENTIALLY
WEST AUSTRALIAN LOCATION AND
Fresh-air vistas of the
Indian Ocean add a beautiful,
organic touch to weddings.
