years in a row, the hotel was inducted into the
association’s Hall of Fame. It was also a Gold
Plate finalist in 2009 and 2010.

Esplanade Hotel Fremantle.
Overlooking the popular Fishing Boat
Harbour, the hotel is within walking distance
of Fremantle’s CBD - home to galleries,
cinemas, museums, restaurants and bars.
Containing 300 guest rooms, this four-
and-a-half-star hotel is WA’s third-largest
conference and function centre, with nine
venues that can cater for 10 to 1000 delegates.
These include the Southern Cross Gala
Ballroom – an impressive 800sqm pillarless
space with a six-metre-high ceiling – and the
Indian Ocean Suite, which features delicate
chandeliers and overlooks the Atrium pool.
Located on the first floor, with sweeping
parkland views, is the Island Suite, a popular
wedding venue. For more intimate functions,
the Parkview Room offers plenty of natural
light and views through the Norfolk pines.
The hotel offers a multitude of unique
private venues including the Resort Pool,
Admiralty Gulf Room and Terrace Room.
The hotel’s international buffet is a major
drawcard - it features a chef’s kitchen where
guests can interact with the chefs while they
prepare fresh eggs, omelettes and pancakes
for breakfast, and pasta and pizza for lunch
and dinner. Fresh, local seafood, and hot and
cold dishes are also available.
