remantle’s largest independent craft
brewery, The Monk Brewery and Kitchen
is a leading destination for craft beer,
honest food and great events.
Since April 2010, The Monk Brewery and
Kitchen has consistently won awards including
the Best Reduced Alcohol Beer in the 2011
Australian International Beer Awards and at
the 2010 Perth Royal Beer Show.
One of the few true craft breweries left in
Fremantle, all beer is brewed in-house with
no additives or preservatives, and is made
using hands-on methods.
The beer is complemented by a globally
inspired menu that uses fresh, local produce.
The venue provides plenty of scope for events
of any size, from intimate three-course dinners or
business meetings through to large lectures and
cocktail receptions for 500 with canapes, platters
and their famous Spanish Paella on the terrace.
The architecturally designed space has an
organic feel and rustic edge, with recycled
timber railway sleepers from the Fremantle-
Leighton railway line, a feature that adds
character and heritage.
There are four large LCD screens located in
every room of the restaurant that are great for
slideshows. Brewery tours and beer appreciation
classes are offered for any event.
