THE TIKI BEAT BEAR
he Tiki Beat Bar is a sophisticated small
bar, adorned in historical tiki carvings
and matching decor.
It is perfect for offering a relaxed atmosphere
for casual or after-work drinks, and is the latest
addition to Fremantle’s bustling cappuccino strip.
The design of the establishment was
a collaboration with input from renowned tiki
carver, Marcus Thorn. The bar pays homage
to 1960s vintage surf culture and enchanting
Polynesian paradises through nautical-themed
vintage artwork and Rockabilly surf tunes.
Just over a year old, it is Perth’s only portside
tiki bar, serving more than 20 different types of
lush cocktails, as well as three of its very own
speciality cocktails, made with Newport Spiced
Rum. Drinks are served in ornamental ceramic
mugs, adding to the bar’s overall ambience.

off the street and one through a small hallway
inside the Newport Hotel.

The establishment has already attracted big
names like world-renowned pin-up model
Masuimi Max, who used the bar as the backdrop
